Mono audio codec with built-in D-class amplifier CJC8909_V1.0

release time:2024-05-22publisher:CSC

CJC8909 is a low-power, high-quality codec designed specifically for portable digital audio applications. This chip integrates a complete interface to a single channel headphone or amplifier. Due to the absence of a separate headphone amplifier, the requirements for external components are greatly reduced. Advanced on-chip digital signal processing performs automatic level control for audio equalizers, microphones, or line inputs.

CJC8909 can operate as a host or slave with various master clock frequencies, including 12MHz or 24MHz for USB devices, or standard 256fs frequencies such as 12.288MHz and 24.576MHz. Different audio sampling rates (such as 96kHz, 48kHz, 44.1kHz...) can be directly generated by the main clock without the need for an external phase-locked loop. CJC8909 can operate when the power supply voltage drops to 1.8V, while digital computing units can operate when the voltage drops to 1.5V to save power, and the maximum voltage of all power supplies is 3.3V. Different parts of the chip can also be powered off separately under software control.

CJC8909 utilizes a very small and thin 4x4mm COL package, making it ideal for use in handheld devices and portable systems
