The QCY brand was founded in 2009 with the core product concept of "Pleasure in it", aiming to create comfortable and trendy wireless products, where Q stands for Quality, C stands for Creative creation, and Y stands for Young.
The price of QCY's products is concentrated within 200 yuan, and it has achieved good sales with a relatively high cost performance. Its head office, Hele Electronics, provides OEM services for Xiaomi true wireless headsets. I have previously disassembled QCY T1S TWS Bluetooth headset (wireless charging version) , QCY T1 youth version true wireless Bluetooth headset , QCY T4 TWS true wireless Bluetooth headset , QCY Q29 TWS true wireless Bluetooth headset , QCY-L2 active drop Five products of Noisy wireless hanging neck headphones .
What I want to disassemble this time is the QCY T5 true wireless Bluetooth headset. It uses the original Bluetooth 5.0 chip, supports low-latency game mode, supports touch control, supports call noise reduction, and IPX5 waterproof life. The configuration is relatively close to QCY T4. Let’s take a detailed disassembly to see what are the differences between the two headsets except for appearance and internal design~
1. QCY T5 true wireless Bluetooth headset out of the box
The packaging box style is more colorful, like T4, the upper left corner is the QCY brand logo, the bottom is the product name "T5 TWS Bluetooth headset", the rendering of the headset and the charging box occupy the main position, and the outer circle color pattern resembles a guitar.
The back of the box is a set of product information in both Chinese and English. The main content is: QCY T5 TWS Bluetooth headset, model In1933, music playback time is about 4-5 hours, input parameter 5V⎓500mA, support protocol: HSP/HFP/A2DP/ AVRCP, manufacturer: Dongguan Hele Electronics Co., Ltd. In addition, there are some authentication information and anti-counterfeiting query information.
Items in the box, earphones and charging box, charging cable, earplugs and user manual.
The charging cable is a USB-A to Micro-USB interface and comes with two pairs of silicone earplugs of different sizes (one more is given).
The charging box is in the shape of a "soap box" with a delicate feel, with the QCY brand logo on the top.

My love audio network uses ChargerLAB POWER-Z KT001 portable power tester to perform wired charging test on QCY T5 TWS Bluetooth headset, the charging power is about 1.3W.
Weight of headset and charging box: 41.6g.
Single weight of charging box: 33g.
Weight of left and right earphones: 8.8g. Compared with QCY T4, the charging box has a larger battery capacity, so it weighs a few grams.
2. Disassembly of the QCY T5 true wireless Bluetooth headset charging box
After just unpacking, we have a preliminary understanding of the appearance of the QCY T5 true wireless Bluetooth headset. Next we will enter the disassembly process. The first thing we bring is the charging box Partially disassembled.

3. Disassembly of QCY T5 true wireless Bluetooth headset
The appearance of QCY T5 earphones has changed a lot. The earphones are still in-ear design, but they use a strip-shaped motherboard. The earphone handle is smooth and round and fits the auricle when worn.

The main control chip is PixArt original phase PAU1606FB-S1, supports Bluetooth 5.0 EDR/BLE dual mode, adopts QFN-40 5x5mm package, and is suitable for TWS headsets.
The original phase PAU1606FB-S1 supports SBC / mSBC, AAC, built-in 10-band equalizer; supports dual microphone noise reduction; built-in lithium-ion battery charger, charging current up to 400mA. Its patented GeendRadio™ stereo (GRS) technology has the characteristics of fast switching, low latency, low radiation, low power consumption and anti-interference.
According to the dismantling of my love audio network, QCY T4 TWS true wireless Bluetooth headset , Razer Warhammer wild shark true wireless in-ear headset , Edifier GM4 true wireless Bluetooth gaming headset , JOWAY H96 true wireless Bluetooth headset all use the original Phase solution, low latency is its common selling point.

I love the audio network to summarize the
QCY T5 true wireless Bluetooth headset. Compared with other QCY TWS headphones that I have disassembled before, the headset is finally not a "bean-shaped" design. It is still an in-ear structure, but it uses With a strip-shaped motherboard, the headphone handle is smooth and round, and fits the auricle when worn. The overall appearance of the white model is relatively high.
The charging box of QCY T5 uses the Micro-USB interface to input current, and adopts Shengbangwei SGM4056 linear charging IC and Saixin Micro XB5332A lithium battery integrated protection IC to ensure the safety of the charging box battery; the charging box battery capacity is 380mAh.
In the earphone part, QCY T5 uses the original PAU1606FB-S1 Bluetooth audio SoC like T4, supports Bluetooth 5.0, and its GeendRadio™ stereo technology has the characteristics of fast switching between left and right ears and low latency. It is adopted by many "game TWS" headphones. And the chip has a built-in lithium-ion battery charger to ensure the safety of the headset battery; the soft pack battery capacity in the headset is 43mAh, the same as T4. The headset uses a laminated patch Bluetooth antenna to send and receive Bluetooth signals.
In addition, QCY T5 true wireless Bluetooth headset supports touch control, which is more convenient to use than QCY T1 series and T4 buttons. On the whole, QCY T5 and QCY T4 have the same price. The main control chip and battery capacity of the headset are the same. The two are only different in appearance design, control method and internal related circuits. Ordinary consumers can choose according to their preferences and habits. .
